This scholarship is both in tribute and loving memory of a man of outstanding valor and honor, Army Sergeant, Adam Kennedy 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.  Adam was killed in action while defending his country during the Iraq War.  He will be remembered as a loved son, brother, friend, and as a proud and dedicated soldier in the United States Army.

The Memorial scholarship will be awarded to a student each year that displays a similar drive, character, and sense of honor to Adam's, along with an interest in pursuing a military career.  The Sgt. Adam P. Kennedy Memorial Scholarship will help to extend Adam's legacy as a true American Hero who believed, above all else, in the value of honor, loyalty, and service to ones country.

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world.  Some of us wanted to grow up to be teachers, accountants, doctors, or lawyers – then again a few brave men and women want to grow up to make sure that we can.
